I have recently completed my degree in Genetics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. During my last year I did an internship at the “Bioinformatics of Genome Diversity” research group from the Institut de Biotecnologia i de Biomedicina. Wanting to discover more about the research world I applied for CSIC’s JAE Intro 2022 scholarship. During my stay at González lab, I am studying the relationships between transposable elements and the invasive ability of Drosophila species.
