I am an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Bioinformatics, driven by a profound interest in genetics, evolution, data visualization and programming. Currently engaged in an internship dedicated to characterizing the impact of stress on transcript variation. Specifically, examining the expression of gene-transposable element (TE) chimeras in flies by implementing a command-line pipeline. This endeavor allows me to explore the intricate connections between genetics and bioinformatics, aligning with my passion for understanding the dynamic interplay within biological systems.
