I obtained my PhD in Genetics at the Universitat de Barcelona, under the supervision of Prof. Marta Riutort. At the present, I am a lab technician at González Lab undertaking wet-lab duties for a research project that aims to study genomic adaptations to the changing environment in Drosophila. I am also involved in the management of the citizen science project Melanogaster Catch the Fly! (MCTF!). My research interests have been mainly focused on the evolution and diversity of triclad planarians and have recently broadened to bioinformatics.
